The nation's oldest grassroots taxpayer and small government organization, The National Taxpayers Union http://www.ntu.org/news-and-issues has given praise to a Constitutional Amendment proposed by Congressman Walt Minnick earlier this summer. The amendment, Joint Resolution 95, know more commonly as the Madison Amendment, allows the individual states to call for limited individual conventions to consider specific additional amendments to The U. S. Constitution.

The National Taxpayers Union (NTU) is joining Idaho Rep. Walt Minnick in promoting an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow states to call constitutional conventions to handle specific topics, rather than a full rewrite of the country’s founding document.
